RADIO STATIONS
:: BBC Radio Stoke
- the excellent BBC local community & music station,
reaching a third of the population of North Staffordshire every week.
:: Signal 1 FM - commercial
music station.
:: Cross Rhythms City Radio
- a Community station for Stoke-on-Trent & Newcastle-under-Lyme with a Christian ethos.
Broadcasting on 101.8FM. Employs 13 people and has 25 volunteers.
In 2005 they won a rare full-time 5-year broadcasting license.
:: UCB - professional
satellite & web-based Christian radio broadcaster, based in Stoke-on-Trent.
Stoke-on-Trent has a new set of digital stations
run by TWG Emap Digital, launched Summer 2004. BBC Radio Stoke
is also now available on the
new digital radios.

operating out of Birmingham.
Stoke is covered by Central TV,
operating out of Nottingham and Birmingham.

:: SMA Studios -
a highly-experienced character-based animation studio, creating
work for commercials, TV, and features. Based in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent.
:: Steve England - based in Leek.

:: All4One Music - provides production music for film, TV, video productions and websites.
TRAINING
:: The University of Keele: Continuing
& Professional Education. Offers short courses in the local community, which includes
'Scriptwriting for Stage, Screen and Radio'.
:: Longton High - City Learning Centre, Stoke-on-Trent. They have "a fully operational T.V studio",
and can provide Apple Mac training, and animation training.

LOCATIONS
:: Stallington Hall Farm
- a Tudor/Georgian film-shooting location in Blythe Bridge, Stoke-on-Trent.
The venue is also available for stills photography.
EXHIBITION
:: Stoke-on-Trent has the Film Theatre -
a 212-seat purpose-built art-house cinema. The cinema is
always fully open to the public; it's not limited just to
University students.
